Brittani McLaurin arrived at TCU as Spirit Director in July 2024.

McLaurin is Head Coach of the TCU Showgirls while overseeing the TCU Cheer and Rangers programs as well as the SuperFrog mascot. She had been Head Coach of the North Texas Dancers at UNT the previous seven years in addition to Dance Team Manager for the Dallas Wings and Panther City Lacrosse Club. She has also been Head Dance Coach of the Florida State Golden Girls.

In addition to her coaching background, McLaurin came to TCU with more than 25 years in dance and cheer. She served as Dance State Director for Varsity Spirit for six years and as an accredited dance competition judge. McLaurin has also consulted and choreographed for numerous dance teams throughout Arkansas, Florida, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

A native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., McLaurin is a graduate of Florida State where she was a four-year member of the FSU Golden Girls. She then danced professionally for the Florida Panthers and Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue Dancers.
