Justin Shaw

About: Shaw is no stranger to TCU Athletics. The Las Vegas native received his Bachelors of Sport Psychology from TCU while serving as an undergraduate equipment manager for the women's basketball team from 2008-2012. Upon graduation, Shaw was promoted to the role of a graduate assistant equipment manager. His sports responsibilities expanded to men's basketball as well as indoor and beach volleyball.
In December 2014, Shaw received his Masters of Liberal Arts degree from TCU and was hired as equipment coordinator upon his graduation. In January 2022, Shaw was promoted to Director of the Department. He is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) and has served on the District VII Board as District Treasurer since 2016. In 2017, Shaw was honored as Equipment Manager of the Year for District VII.
Shaw resides in Fort Worth with his three cats, Jethro, Josie, & Benny.
Jason Jones

About: Jones returns to TCU Athletics after serving as head equipment manager at Arkansas State from July 2014-2018 and head football equipment manager at SMU from 2018-2022. The Decatur, Texas native received his Bachelors of Middle School Mathematics from TCU while serving as an undergraduate equipment manager for the football team from 2002-2007. Upon graduation, Jones was promoted to the role of a graduate assistant equipment manager. His sports responsibilities expanded to football as well as baseball and women’s soccer. In 2009, Jones received his Masters of Educational Administration degree from TCU and was hired as assistant equipment manager upon his graduation. Jones now serves as director of football equipment and oversees the football equipment staff and the team’s student managers.
He is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA). Jason resides in Mansfield, Texas with his wife, Taylor, and twin boys, Landon & Bennett.
Victor Ignatiev

About: Victor Ignatiev arrived to TCU in July 2014 as the Assistant Equipment Manager.
Ignatiev comes to TCU after spending the previous 10 years as an athletic equipment manager at Houston. Ignatiev's sport responsibilities at TCU include Football, Equestrian, Cross Country, and Track and Field
Prior to Houston, Ignatiev held different positions in a similar capacity, including head football equipment manager at West Texas A&M University from 1995-1997, head equipment manager at Sam Houston State from 1998-2000 and head equipment manager/ hockey manager at The Colorado College from 2000-2001. Ignatiev also interned for the NFL Summer Equipment program in 1997, 1999, and from 2002-2004. He also served as the equipment manager for the U.S. Army High School All-American football game from 2002-2005 and Universal Pictures "Friday Night Lights" in 2003.
Ignatiev earned his Bachelor of Arts from West Texas A&M University in 1997 and his Master of Arts from Sam Houston State in 2000. Ignatiev is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) and serves on the District VII Board as Continuing Education Coordinator. He is also a member of the American Football Coaches Association.
Ignatiev and his wife, Julie, have two children, Conner and Victoria.
Brad Andrews

About: Brad Andrews arrived to TCU in August 2021 as Assistant Director of Equipment Services. He currently serves as the equipment coordinator for baseball, men's and women's tennis, and Rifle.
Andrews comes to TCU after serving four years as an Assistant Equipment Manager at Purdue University. He served in the same role at Minnesota from 2015-2018 prior to beginning his tenure with the Boilermakers.
A native of Lafayette, Indiana, Andrews earned his bachelor's degree in Psychological Sciences from Purdue University. He currently resides in Fort Worth.

About: Carter Ison arrived to TCU Summer 2021 as graduate assistant equipment manager for Olympic sports. He currently serves as equipment manager for TCU Indoor Volleyball and the TCU Tennis programs.
Ison comes to TCU after serving the previous four years as undergraduate equipment manager for KU Women’s Basketball while earning his Bachelor’s in Sport Management while minoring in Business.
Hailing from Lawrence, Kansas, Ison is excited to be a part of the TCU athletics staff. He is currently working toward his Master's degree in Liberal Arts and is expected to graduate in Spring 2023.

Archer comes to TCU after spending the last four years of student manager duty at Northwest Missouri State. While at Iowa NWMSU, Archer earned his Bachelor’s in Sport Management.
Originally from Maryville, MO, Archer is excited to be a part of the TCU athletics staff. He is currently working toward his Master's degree in Liberal Arts and is expected to graduate in Fall 2023.
