Horned Frogs have won six of the last nine Big 12 regular season titles
FORT WORTH – TCU has dominated the Big 12 men's tennis landscape over the last decade, and that trend is expected to continue in 2026, as the Horned Frogs were picked first in the Big 12 Men's Tennis Preseason Poll.
The poll was conducted via a vote of the league's head coaches, who could not select their own teams.
TCU received 63 points and 7-of-8 first place votes. Arizona followed closely with 57 points and one first place vote. Completing the top five of the poll are Baylor (48 points), UCF (44 points) and Arizona State (38 points).
The Frogs have now been picked to claim the conference's regular season crown in seven of their 14 years of membership and four of the last six seasons: 2021, 2023, 2025, 2026.
Under the leadership of head coach David Roditi, TCU has captured a league-leading nine combined Big 12 regular season and tournament championships since 2015. The Horned Frogs finished unbeaten in conference play in 2025 en route to the undisputed Big 12 regular season championship. TCU has won six of the last nine regular season titles.
TCU returns seven letter winners from a 2024-25 squad that finished with a 27-4 overall record and as the vice champion at both the ITA Indoor National Championships and NCAA D1 Men's Tennis Championship.
The Horned Frogs open the 2026 dual season at 1 p.m. on Sunday vs. Abilene Christian at the indoor Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
