TCU to host Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate on March 23-24 at Colonial CC
FORT WORTH – TCU announced its complete 2025-26 season schedule, a 13-tournament slate highlighted by the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Invitational and multiple appearances on PGA Tour level courses.
The Horned Frogs open the season at the Carmel Cup on Aug. 29-31 for the second straight year. The Carmel Cup is held at the revered Pebble Beach Golf Links along the Monterey Peninsula in northern California. The event began in 2011 and is organized and fully funded by TCU alum Fin Ewing III ('80).
TCU also returns to Colonial Country Club to host the third edition of the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Invitational on March 23-24. TCU and The Charles Schwab Corporation partnered with Colonial in 2024 to create a preeminent college women's golf tournament. The Frogs hosted two playings of the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate last season.
Dubbed "the Masters of women's golf" by TCU head coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin, the tournament has quickly become the most competitive regular season event in the sport. The 2026 Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Invitational field features reigning national runner-up Stanford as well as Oregon and Texas, which advanced to match play at last season's NCAA Championship. TCU is among a laundry list of participants who finished in the top-20 of the year-end national rankings, a group that includes Auburn, Mississippi State, Texas A&M and Wake Forest.
TCU's schedule packs plenty of Lone Star State punch. Including the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Invitational, six of the Frogs' 11 regular season events take place on home soil, five of which occur during the spring season.
The Horned Frogs will look to defend their 2024-25 team championships at the Jim West Challenge (Oct. 19-20) and Chevron Collegiate (Feb. 23-24). TCU also visits Austin to tee it up in the Betsy Rawls Invitational on March 15-16. The Frogs close out the regular season with a stroll east along Interstate 30 on April 6-7 to the PGA Tour-tested Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas for the Veritex Bank Collegiate.
The Big 12 Championship returns to the Dallas Athletic Club for the first time in three seasons on April 23-25. TCU placed third at the venue in 2023.
The Horned Frogs begin the spring south of the border at Guadalajara Country Club, the home course of LPGA Tour legend Lorena Ochoa, on Jan. 30-31 at the Collegiate Invitational at GCC. TCU's out-of-state ventures also feature fall trips to Toledo, Ohio and Knoxville, Tenn. for the Inverness Intercollegiate (Sept. 15-16) and Mercedez Benz Intercollegiate (Oct. 5-7) and an annual drive to Norman, Okla. to participate in the Schooner Fall Classic (Sept. 20-22).
NCAA Regionals run from May 11-13, with the top 30 teams advancing to the NCAA National Championship, held from May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
