Comes to TCU after working for Texas A&M track & field
FORT WORTH – TCU beach volleyball head coach Hector Gutierrez announced the addition of Haley Gafford as the program's graduate assistant on Wednesday.
Gafford joins the Frogs with a strong background in operations and event coordination from her time with the Texas A&M track & field program.
"I am incredibly grateful and excited to be joining the TCU Beach Volleyball program as the new Graduate Assistant," Gafford said. "Stepping into this next chapter at TCU means a lot to me. I will be earning my Master of Science in Supply Chain Management while getting the opportunity to work with a team that has such a strong culture, incredible athletes and a passionate coaching staff. I am looking forward to learning, growing and contributing however I can, both on and off the sand. I am thankful for the chance to be part of something special here."
While in College Station, she served as a student manager for the track & field team, assisting with a wide variety of operational tasks. She provided logistical support by preparing meet itineraries, assisting in travel planning, reporting applicable information to compliance, overseeing volunteer positions for home track meets and additional duties.
Gafford also had the opportunity to volunteer for the USA Track & Field Junior Olympics. In this role, she ensured proper setup for the event, directed athletes to the correct locations and oversaw check-in.
Gafford graduated from Texas A&M in just three years with a bachelor's degree in sport management in May of 2025.
