
Harding Signs with TCU

Iowa guard averaged 8.8 points and 5.3 assists last season
FORT WORTH – TCU men's basketball announced the signing of former Iowa guard Brock Harding on Monday.
Harding averaged 8.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and a team-best 5.3 assists, which ranked fourth in the Big Ten Conference last season for the Hawkeyes. The Moline, Ill. Native recorded two double-doubles last season, including 20 points and 10 assists to go with four steals against USC Upstate.
Harding started 24 of the 33 games played and shot 39.8 percent from the field and 76.6 percent from the free throw line.
As a freshman in the 2023-24 season, Harding averaged 3.4 points and 2.6 assists in 10.8 minutes per game while earning a spot on the Dean's List for the spring semester. His 89 assists were the most by a Big Ten freshman. In his first career double-double, Harding had 10 points and 12 assists against UMBC. The 12 assists were the most by a Hawkeye freshman since 2017.
At Moline High School, Harding was named Illinois' 2023 Mr. Basketball after leading Moline to its first ever state championship and a 35-3 overall record. He was a three-time first-team all-state and Western Big 6 honoree and scored 1,889 points during his high school career.
Harding will join fall signees Xavier Edmonds and Kayden Edwards as newcomers for the 2025-26 season.
