- TCU won the toss and elected to defer.
- Today's attendance at Amon G. Carter Stadium was announced as 44,197.
- TCU has now scored in 416 consecutive games, the second longest streak in NCAA history - trailing only Florida (469).
- TCU has been held scoreless in the first quarter in four of six Big 12 games this season.
- TCU failed to score a touchdown in the first half for the first time since the Texas game on Nov. 11, 2023.
- TCU held a starting QB under 10 completions for the second time this season, third time under Andy Avalos.
- Eric McAlister and Jordan Dwyer are the first two TCU receivers to have 10+ receptions in the same game since Adrian Madise and Latarence Dunbar did it against East Carolina on Oct. 30, 2001.
- The loss snapped a seven-game home winning streak.

QB Josh Hoover
- His 34 completions were a season-high, and it marked the fifth time in his career he has eclipsed 30 completions.
- He also passed for over 300 yards for the fourth time this season, and 15th time in his career.
- Had double-digit receptions for the first time in his TCU career.
- His 11 receptions also tied a career high set at Idaho.
- Led TCU in tackles for the third consecutive game.
- Had 14th and 15th career interception to move to fourth all-time in TCU's career record book.
- Also was his first career two interception game.
