Top 5 battle set for Saturday at the TCU Rifle Range
FORT WORTH – The No. 5 TCU women's rifle team returns to the TCU Rifle Range this Saturday to face No. 4 Georgia Southern. TCU is off to strong start in the spring with victories over Ohio State and UTEP. All 11 members of the team will shoot which is slated at 8:30 a.m.
The Horned Frogs enter the match ranked fourth in smallbore average (2345.88) and sixth in air rifle average (2379.25), with an overall aggregate average of 4,736. TCU has eclipsed the 4,710 mark in every match this season.
Katie Zaun, who ranks top 5 nationally in all disciplines, leads TCU with averages of 590.88 in smallbore and 597.38 in air rifle. Her 1,188.25 aggregate average is second nationally. Mikole Hogan ranks top 20 nationally in aggregate average (1,181.75) and 14th nationally in smallbore average (587.50).
TCU's air rifle squad features multiple shooters averaging 590 or better Mikole Hogan is averaging a 594.25 followed Christina Hillinger (594.00), Ziva Swick (593.80) and Rylie Passmore (592.75).

Last weekend, Micah Hames set a career-high in smallbore, scoring 584, with Marissa Fedora also shooting her season-best 586. Additionally, Swick posted a strong smallbore performance of 587, matching her career best.
Four Frogs reached career milestones in aggregate scores during last weekend's matches. Marissa Fedora (1,182) and Meredith Stuart (1,154) posted career-highs, while Swick (1,180) and Kaylynn Slaughter (1,174) equaled their previous bests.
