The rising senior continues to bring in end-of-year honors
FORT WORTH – TCU women's soccer player Seven Castain has won a multitude of USL W League awards, the league announced Wednesday.
Castain earned a trio of recognitions, as she was named a First Team All-USL W member, the Mountain Divisional Player of the Year and USL W Player of the Year.
"Seven Castain's dominance this summer has been nothing short of remarkable," head coach Eric Bell said. "Earning First Team All-USL W League honors, Western Conference Player of the Year and USL W League Player of the Year speaks to her relentless work ethic, elite talent and game-changing presence on the field. She continues to raise the bar and represent TCU with excellence."
As a member of Utah United, Castain went on to win the 2025 USL W League Championship, scoring a goal in the final against NC Courage U23. The Draper, Utah, native was recently named the Player of the Month for June after recording 10 goals during the month, including scoring a brace in the win against Flatirons FC on the 26th to secure the team's spot in the playoffs.
The success Castain has had in the USL W League is no different than what she's experienced so far in Fort Worth, as she is inside the top 10 in program history for multiple offensive categories. The rising senior currently sits tied for seventh for goals with 22 and also tied for eighth in points with 60.
Castain posted her best season to date with the Frogs in 2024, scoring 13 goals and recording 32 points to help lead TCU to its third Big 12 Regular Season Championship in five seasons.
