Award is the highest annual coaching honor in women's college golf
FORT WORTH – Angie Ravaioli-Larkin led TCU to one of its greatest seasons in 2024-25, and her head coaching peers took notice.
Ravaioli-Larkin was one of 25 coaches selected to the Division I Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year watch list on Wednesday.
Presented annually, the award is recognized as the highest coaching honor in women's collegiate golf.
Ravaioli-Larkin has been tabbed to the watch list in two of the past three years.
The 2024-25 campaign was her 31st at the helm. It may also have been her most successful.
Under Ravaioli-Larkin's leadership, TCU broke six program records: scoring average (289), birdies (517), par-or-better rounds (15), top-five finishes (nine), low-36 (557, -19) and low-54 (830, -34). The Horned Frogs won three team championships for the first time in her tenure and ascended as high as 13th in the Scoreboard rankings. TCU earned its 28th all-time NCAA Tournament berth in the Ravaioli-Larkin era in April.
Individually, Ravaioli-Larkin coached Camille Min-Gaultier to Big 12 Freshman of the Year and All-Big 12 Team honors. Ravaioli-Larkin also saw Sofia Barroso Sá qualify for NCAA D1 Women's Golf Championship, which begins Friday at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. TCU had three players conclude the season with sub-73 scoring averages; Min-Gaultier (72.2), Barroso Sá (72.5) and Kirstin Angosta (72.9).
The award recipient will be announced following the conclusion of the NCAA Championships
