
MTEN Preview: Indoor Championships

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's tennis doubles duo of Trevor Johnson and Reese Stalder are set to start competition at the 2016 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in New York at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center from Nov. 3-6.
The No. 41 ranked pair earned a bye in the first round and will open competition on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 2:45 p.m., CT, in the Round of 16 against Richard Pham and Victor Pham of Columbia. This is Johnson's second trip to the fall championships, while Stalder will be making his first appearance.
The duo will be competing against pairs from 18 different schools with 10 of them being ranked within the top-75 of the Oracle/ITA rankings. Johnson and Stalder earned an automatic bid to the ITA's fourth national championship of the fall by winning the ITA Texas Regional Championships presented by Oracle two weeks ago at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth.
