TCU Hosts USTA Training Workshop

FORT WORTH - TCU, in conjunction with USTA Texas, hosted a 10 and Under Training Workshop last Friday for area tennis instructors, parents and volunteers.
The event, which was conducted by Eric Clay of the United States Tennis Association, introduced USTA Quick Start methods to teach the game of tennis to children. The 3.5 hour workshop was attended by 24 people at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
Participants learned teaching methods, techniques and the use of tailored equipment to help stimulate the interest of young players and help grow the game of tennis.
