
Simon falls in quarterfinals

WAIKOLOA, Hawaii - TCU men's tennis player Adrian Simon fell in the quarterfinals of the USA F28 Futures tournament on Friday to No. 7 seed Chris Lam (USA) by a score of 1-6, 7-6(4), 1-6.
The TCU freshman won two matches in the main draw, highlighted by an upset of No. 2 Alexander Satschko (GER), who is currently ranked No. 322 in the world.
Simon also teamed up with Cosmin Cotet in the doubles portion, as the Frog duo won two matches, including an upset of the No. 2 seeded team, to advance to the semifinals.
