
Day Three results from the Wilson/ITA Regional Championships

FORT WORTH, Texas - The women's Southwest Regional completed day three of the Wilson/ITA Regional Championships, while the men started day one of the South Central Regional, hosted by TCU.
All five of the top seeds advanced through two rounds to end the day in the round of 32, including No. 1 Lars Poerschke (Baylor), No. 2 Jerry Makowski (Texas A&M), No. 3 Alexander Skrypko, No. 4 Ralph Knupfer (Rice) and No. 5 Andrei Kumantsov (Texas A&M-CC).
In men's doubles action, the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds were upset in the round of 32. The No. 1 duo of Connor Pollack and Bryan Wooten (Texas A&M) was defeated by Denes Mueller and Dominik Lukacs of Baylor, while the No. 2 team of Ralph Knupfer and Tobias Scheil of Rice fell to Clay Donato and John Nallon of Texas A&M. The rest of the top five doubles seeds survived to the round of 16.
In day three of women's play, seeds No. 1-3 all advanced to the quarterfinals of the main draw, while No. 4 Petra Dizdar of Texas and No. 5 Anna Sydorska of TCU fell in the round of 16. All of the remaining top seeds in the women's doubles main draw advanced to the round of 16.
