FORT WORTH, Texas - Alex Menichini and Toni Gordon were both defeated in their matches at the 2002 ITA All American tournament in Chattanooga, Tenn. Friday.
Menichini was participating in the consolation round of the men's open singles and was defeated by Alejandro Tejerina 6-1; 6-2.
Gordon was defeated in the second round of the men's open singles by Bo Hodge 6-2; 7-6 (8).
The 2002 ITA All American will resume play tomorrow including consolation matches and doubles action.
